Our Story
Prima Guardian was founded in October 2019 by Buppha Steer ("Prima"), a British-Thai national, to provide educational guardianship services for international students in the United Kingdom.
Prima’s journey into educational guardianship began when close friends in Thailand approached her to become an educational guardian for their nephews, along with several fellow students from one of Thailand’s well known private institutions, Assumption Business Administration College (ABAC), who were preparing to begin their studies in the United Kingdom in September 2019.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Prima supported students through travel restrictions, school closures, online learning, quarantine requirements, and health concerns, ensuring every student remained safe and supported.
This strengthened the trust of parents and schools, helping Prima Guardian grow through recommendations and referrals. Over the following years, the organisation built a strong reputation for reliable and personalised student support.

ประวัติความเป็นมาขององค์กร
Prima Guardian ก่อตั้งขึ้นในเดือนตุลาคม พ.ศ. 2562 โดยคุณบุปผา สเตียร์ (“ไปรมา”) ผู้มีสัญชาติไทยและบริติช เพื่อให้บริการตัวแทนผู้ปกครองด้านการศึกษา (Educational Guardianship) สำหรับเยาวชนต่างชาติที่มาเรียนที่สหราชอาณาจักร โดยก่อตั้งครั้งแรกจากการแนะนำของเพื่อนสนิทที่ประสงค์จะส่งหลานชายมาเรียนจำนวน 2 คน และต่อมากลายเป็น 5 คนจากสถาบันเดียวกันคือ โรงเรียนอัชสัมชัญ บางรัก กรุงเทพฯ เพื่อมาเรียนดีเอาด้านฟุตบอลที่สหราชอาณาจักร
ในช่วงเริ่มต้นของการแพร่ระบาดของโรคโควิด 19 ไปรมาได้ให้การดูแลและสนับสนุนนักเรียนอย่างใกล้ชิด ท่ามกลางข้อจำกัดด้านการเดินทาง การปิดสถานศึกษา การเรียนออนไลน์ มาตรการกักตัว กาคปิดสนามบินและปัญหาด้านสุขภาพต่าง ๆ โดยมั่นใจว่านักเรียนทุกคนได้รับความปลอดภัยและการดูแลอย่างต่อเนื่องตลอดช่วงเวลาวิกฤตนี้
ประสบการณ์ดังกล่าวช่วยสร้างความเชื่อมั่นและความไว้วางใจจากทั้งผู้ปกครองและสถานศึกษา ส่งผลให้ Prima Guardian เติบโตอย่างมั่นคงผ่านการแนะนำและการบอกต่อถึง 7 ปีต่อเนื่อง จากนั้นองค์กรได้สร้างชื่อเสียงในฐานะผู้ให้บริการที่เชื่อถือได้ พร้อมมอบการดูแลที่เหมาะสมกับความต้องการของนักเรียนแต่ละคน
ในปี พ.ศ. 2565 ไปรมาได้รับการรับรองเป็น Accredited Preliminary Member จาก AEGIS ซึ่งสะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นขององค์กรในการส่งเสริมความปลอดภัย สวัสดิภาพ และมาตรฐานการดูแลนักเรียนนานาชาติในระดับสูง
นับตั้งแต่นั้นเป็นต้นมา Prima Guardian ได้ขยายเครือข่ายการสนับสนุนทั่วสหราชอาณาจักร พร้อมให้ความช่วยเหลือที่คำนึงถึงความแตกต่างทางวัฒนธรรม การสื่อสารภาษาไทย และการประสานงานอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพระหว่างนักเรียน ผู้ปกครอง เอเจนซี่ ผู้ร่วมงานธุรกิจการ์เดี้ยนอื่นๆ และสถานศึกษา
ปัจจุบัน Prima Guardian ดำเนินงานจากสำนักงานในเมืองยอร์ก เขตยอร์กเชอร์ ตอนเหนือของประเทศอังกฤษ โดยให้การดูแลนักเรียนไทยที่กำลังศึกษาอยู่ในโรงเรียนประจำและมหาวิทยาลัยในสหราชอาณาจักรเป็นหลัก
ในปี พ.ศ. 2569 องค์กรได้เฉลิมฉลองครบรอบ 7 ปี พร้อมเปิดตัวเว็บไซต์อย่างนทางการเป็นครั้งแรก และขยายการให้บริการเพื่อต้อนรับนักเรียนจากประเทศต่าง ๆ ในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้อีกด้วย
ในอนาคต Prima Guardian ยังคงมุ่งมั่นในการมอบบริการตัวแทนผู้ปกครองที่ได้รับความไว้วางใจ พร้อมทั้งสร้างและพัฒนาความร่วมมือทางวิชาชีพกับองค์กรการ์เดี้ยนอื่นๆ เพื่อเพิ่มเครือข่ายและยกระดับการสนับสนุนนักเรียนนานาชาติไทยและประเทศเพื่อนบ้านใกล้เคียงให้มีความสุขปลอดภัยและให้ดียิ่งขึ้นต่อไป

Buppha Steer, known as Prima, was born and raised in rural Ubon Ratchathani in northeastern Thailand, near the borders of Laos and Cambodia.
Growing up in the countryside shaped her values of hard work, resilience, compassion, and responsibility from an early age.

Education
At the age of 18, Buppha or Prima moved to Bangkok to continue her education and pursue new opportunities.
She later completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration of General Management (GM) and a Master’s Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management while building a successful professional career in Thailand and across Southeast Asia.

Work experiences in Asia
Before relocating to the United Kingdom in 2014, Prima gained more than 20 years of experience working with international companies in Thailand, including organisations from the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Singapore, China, and Thailand. She progressed from entry level positions to senior executive management, with her final role in Thailand was Supply Chain Director.
Her professional experience covers logistics, warehouse and inventory management, ERP project implementor (WMS & TMS), distribution centres, life insurance, and supply chain management across a variety of industries. Throughout her career, Prima also had opportunities to train, work, and support regional teams across several Asian countries, including Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, China, and India.

ประสบการณ์การทำงานของคุณบุปผา หรือ ไปรมา ครอบคลุมงานทางด้านโลจิสติกส์ การบริหารคลังสินค้าและสินค้าคงคลัง เป็นส่วนหนึ่งจองผู้นำโครงการโครงการในการปรับเปลี่ยนระบบ ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning) โดยเฉพาะส่วน WMS (Warehouse Management System) และ TMS (Transportation Management System) การบริหารศูนย์กระจายสินค้า ธุรกิจประกันชีวิต และการบริหารซัพพลายเชนในหลากหลายอุตสาหกรรม ตลอดเส้นทางการทำงาน คุณบุปผา หรือไปรมา มีโอกาสเข้าดูงานและรับการฝึกอบรมจากประเทศจีนและฮ่องกง และมีส่วนทำงานและให้การฝึกอบรมการใช้ระบบให้กับบริษัทต่างๆในเครือ ในแถบเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ และเอเชียใต้ ได้แก่ สิงคโปร์ อินโดนีเซีย ฟิลิปปินส์ จีน และอินเดีย อีกด้วย
Work experiences in UK
After moving to the United Kingdom, Prima gained valuable experience through volunteering with the National Trust, as well as working in property management, food and beverage services, and educational support. Since 2019, she has dedicated herself fully to working as an Educational Guardian for Thai international students studying in the UK.
In 2022, Prima Guardian became the first Thai educational guardianship organisation to be granted preliminary accreditation by AEGIS.

การอบรมและประสบการณ์ทำงานในสหราชอาณาจักร
หลังจากที่คุณบุปผา หรือ ไปรมา ย้ายมาอาศัยอยู่ในสหราชอาณาจักร เธอได้สั่งสมประสบการณ์ผ่านการเป็นอาสาสมัครกับ National Trust รวมถึงการทำงานด้านการบริหารจัดการอสังหาริมทรัพย์ธุรกิจให้เข่าอสังหาริมทรัพย์ งานบริการอาหารและเครื่องดื่ม และงานสนับสนุนด้านการศึกษา
ตั้งแต่ปี 2019 เป็นต้นมา คุณไปรมาได้ทุ่มเททำงานอย่างเต็มที่ในบทบาทตัวแทนผู้ปกครองในต่างแดนให้กับนักเรียนไทยที่มาศึกษาในสหราชอาณาจักรหรือรู้จักกันในนาม Educational Guardian
ในปี 2022 Prima Guardian ได้รับการรับรองเบื้องต้นจาก AEGIS และถือเป็นองค์กร Educational Guardian ของคนไทยแห่งแรกที่ได้รับการรับรองดังกล่าว

Training & Seminars
Buppha, also known as Prima, has completed a wide range of professional training courses to support her work across different industries over more than 20 years in Asia. These include ISO 9000, ISO 9001, ISO 14000, qualification as an ISO Internal Auditor, import and export operations, APICS, workplace safety training at various levels, and many others.
In the UK, Prima has completed training to support and safeguard young people, including:

Purpose
Through Prima Guardian, Prima aims to provide students and families with trusted guidance, safeguarding, emotional support, and peace of mind while studying abroad. She strongly believes that international students need more than academic and safety support. They also need understanding, emotional wellbeing, cultural guidance, and someone they can trust like family away from home.
Prima also aims to help students develop the balance, confidence, and cultural understanding needed to succeed both internationally and within their own communities, especially the ability to adapt and integrate their knowledge, skills, and experiences across different cultures, beliefs, languages, laws, traditions, technologies, and societies.

Mission
“Prima Guardian provides trusted guardianship, safeguarding, wellbeing, and cultural support for Thai international students studying in the United Kingdom.”
Prima Guardian’s mission is to support young international students, particularly Thai students, in growing with confidence, happiness, safety, and strong personal values while adapting positively to life in the United Kingdom. At the same time, Prima believes it is equally important for students to remain connected to their own culture, identity, and society throughout their overseas education journey.
Our aim is to help students gain valuable knowledge, life experience, and independence from studying in the UK, while also ensuring they can comfortably reintegrate into their home countries, cultures, and future workplaces after graduation. Prima understands that adapting too deeply to life abroad can sometimes make it challenging for Thai students to readjust to their own cultural and professional environments after returning home. Therefore, we encourage students to embrace international experiences while maintaining pride in their own cultural roots.

“Prima Guardian มุ่งมั่นให้บริการด้านเป็นตัวแทนผู้ปกครองนักเรียน (Guardianship) ที่ไว้วางใจได้ ครอบคลุมการคุ้มครองดูแล ความปลอดภัย สุขภาวะที่ดี และการสนับสนุนด้านวัฒนธรรม สำหรับนักเรียนไทยที่มาศึกษาในสหราชอาณาจักร”
พันธกิจของไปรมาการ์เดี้ยน (Prima Guardian) คือการสนับสนุนนักเรียนนานาชาติรุ่นเยาว์ โดยเฉพาะนักเรียนไทย ให้เติบโตอย่างมั่นใจ มีความสุข ปลอดภัยและมีคุณค่าที่ดีงามพร้อมทั้งสามารถปรับตัวเข้ากับการใช้ชีวิตในสหราชอาณาจักรได้อย่างเหมาะสม ในขณะเดียวกัน Prima เชื่อว่าการที่นักเรียนยังคงต้องธำรงค์ไว้ซึ่ง ภาษา วัฒนธรรมไทย อัตลักษณ์และสังคมของตนเองตลอดเส้นทางการศึกษาในต่างประเทศ ซึ่งถือว่ามีความสำคัญไม่แพ้กัน
เป้าหมายของเราคือการช่วยให้นักเรียนไทยได้รับความรู้ ประสบการณ์ชีวิตและความเป็นอิสระจากการศึกษาในสหราชอาณาจักร พร้อมทั้งสามารถนำความรู้ และประสบการร์กลับไปใช้งานและปรับตัวเข้ากับสังคม และวิธีทำงานและการดำรงชีวิตในประเทศบ้านเกิดของตนเองได้จริง และประสบความสำเต็จได้ด้วยความราบรื่น Prima เข้าใจดีว่าการปรับตัวเข้ากับการใช้ชีวิตในต่างประเทศมากเกินไป อาจทำให้นักเรียนไทยบางคนพบความท้าทายในการกลับไปใช้ชีวิตและทำงาน ด้วยวัฒนธรรมทางสังคมในประเทศของตนยังคงเหมือนเดิมอยู่ หลังจากจบการศึกษาและเดินทางกลับบ้านไปแล้ว ดังนั้น เราจึงส่งเสริมให้นักเรียนเปิดรับประสบการณ์ที่ต่างแดนเพื่อใช้ชีวิตให้อยู่ดีมีสัข ควบคู่ไปกับการรักษาความภาคภูมิใจในรากฐานทางวัฒนธรรม ภาษา และวิถีชีวิตในสังคมบ้านเกิดของตนเองด้วย

Prima Guardian recognises that every organisation is unique and brings different strengths, experiences, and expertise. While every guardianship organization share similar goals, collaboration and mutual support can help bridge service gaps and strengthen the overall quality of guardianship services.
Prima Guardian’s long-term vision is not only to work closely with schools, parents, educational agents, AEGIS, and local authorities, but also to collaborate openly with other guardianship organisations across the UK in supporting Thai international students.
Prima Guardian believes in collaboration over competition.
We are always happy to provide Thai language and cultural support where needed, and to recommend other suitable guardianship organisations when they can better support a student’s location or needs. By working together and sharing best practice, we can better protect Thai international students both in boarding schools and universities, promoting their safety, wellbeing, and positive development. At the same time, we aim to help Thai international students thrive through a harmonious integration of both cultures.
